Directions

From the MassPike: Take the Ted Williams Tunnel and stay in the left lane. DO NOT take the Logan Airport Exit. Go past the Holiday Inn (on the right) and take a right at the next light. You will come into a small rotary at Orient Heights where you will go 3/4 way around and to the left in front of the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Funeral Home. Take a left at the traffic light onto Bennington Street. You will then see the Orient Heights T station on your right. After about 1/2 mile you will see the Suffolk Downs T station on your left. The entrance to the Park is on the right about 1/4 mile after the Suffolk Downs T Station.

From Cambridge/Somerville: Follow Route 16 East through Medford, Everett, Chelsea and Revere. In Revere, follow Route 16 to the right over the railroad bridge and look for Suffolk Downs on your right. Bear right at Shaw's Supermarket and the Sub Shop. Go about 1/4 mile and take a right after the Beachmont subway station onto Bennington Street. Look for the entrance to Belle Isle Park on the left after the Beachmont School and the bridge.

Directions to Belle Isle Park from the South:

Take the Ted Williams Tunnel toward Logan Airport. Do NOT take the airport exit. Stay in the left lane and follow the signs to Route 1A. Go through the maze of construction after the airport and continue past the Holiday Inn. Take a right at the first light (look for hill with cross on top) and follow Boardman Street into Orient Heights. Take a left in front of Ruggiero-Mazzarella Funeral Home, and a left at the first intersection - onto Bennington Street. You will then see the Orient Heights T station on your right. After about 1/2 mile you will see the Suffolk Downs T station on your left. The entrance to the Park is on the right about 1/4 mile after the Suffolk Downs T Station.

Directions to Belle Isle Park from the North:

From Route 1: Take the Chelsea Route 16 West exit and at the bottom of the ramp, get in the left traffic lane and make a u-turn at the first light. Now you are headed on Route 16 East. After about one mile, look for the Storage Building on the right. Follow the 145 sign and take a right over the railroad bridge. Go straight about one mile, past the entrance to Suffolk Downs on the right and Shaw's Supermarket on the left. Bear right at the subshop and go 1/4 mile toward the Beachmont T station, then take a right onto Bennington Street immediately after the Beachmont T Station. Look for the Beachmont School and the VFW on the left, and the entrance to the Park is just over the bridge after the School and VFW.
