Folks,

George Cumming joined me today for the heron watch. Actually, he got there a bit before me.

Some young herons today, lots of shorebirds, and, eventually, a Peregrine harassing the shorebirds. Short and sweet.

One young Osprey was feeding on a flopping fish accompanied by one, sometimes two adults. There was also a third adult around, though it looked like it got chased off by one of the other adults. The young is still only about half-size. Not sure if those parents are feeding it well. And what happened to its sibling?
