2007 Spring Cleanup at Belle Isle Marsh

Above:  Volunteers picked up trash including plastic bags from behind Brooks

Drug Store and Excel Academy on Saratoga Street in East Boston.

The trash filled more than these two barrels.

Thanks to Jack Markley, Suzanne Ryan, three Revere High School students

and Bob Eshback.

Below:  Many volunteers celebrated Earth Day at home and helped clean up the marsh at the annual Belle Isle Marsh Cleanup.

Shown in this photo are students from Winthrop and Revere with teachers Chris Farnsworth and Erica Foley (back row) at the Morton Street site.
